Fellowship

Opportunities for fellowship are important to us. Coffee & pastries are served Sunday mornings one weekend a month. A monthly church supper is held and open to all. Our clam boil and chicken barbeque are famous! Our friendly Bingo is also held weekly and open for all to play. Our parish also has a women's guild which meets on the third Wednesday of each month.

Counseling

Priests are available for spiritual direction and celebration of the Sacrament of Reconciliation. A licensed, volunteer Social Worker is on staff to advise couples or individuals and to direct them, as necessary, to longer-term counseling services.

Assistance in Emergencies

We help those in our parish, regardless of denomination, who are in urgent need of food, clothing, shelter, etc.. or direct them to services which are better suited to meet their needs. We also seek to support area groups who provide these services.

Good Neighbor Policy

Underlying all we do is a spirit of Christian hospitality. We are happy to make our parish facilities available to civic and private groups for rental, insofar as possible.

National & World Outreach

As members of the local church of Fall River and of the worldwide Church, we join our sister churches in an ongoing effort to offer assistance to many worthy causes & projects.

Welcome Home Ministry

If, for one reason or another, you have been away from the Catholic Church, we will work with you at restoring full membership. If you are a separated or divorced Catholic, in spite of what you may have heard, you have every right to worship with us. If you are remarried, while not in full communion, there could be the possibility of rectifying the situation. We encourage you to speak with us about your situation and we will advise you accordingly.
If you have no church family to call your own and are interested in this one, we will help you make that important decision. Please contact a staff member or see one of the priests after Mass.

Persons with Disabilities

Our church building and Pastoral Life Center are handicapped accessible. There are also hearing devices available in the sacristy. Your presence here among us is a witness to the great love of Christ in your own life and serves as an inspiration for all of our parishioners.
